Autumn Blooms and more.

I was home for Christmas. Meanwhile Nanna had captured some great moments in his camera.Hope you like them!
This Hibiscus drove our neighbour mad.All credit to Amma!
Can you see the orderliness?Lot India can learn from dogs!So next time you are asked to "go to the dogs", i guess it won't be very difficult to see it in positive light. :)
A kingfisher?(Help me bird watchers),
My mom says its the Paala pitta, the state bird of my home state- Andhra Pradesh. It is called the "Paala Pitta".In Telangana, sighting the bird in Dussera season is considered extremely auspicious. Sadly, the bird's future is not the least auspicious!
The bird was drenched after a beautiful October shower.

After one of those retreating-monsoon-showers!

Punnaga/Kadamalle
This tree looked so 'equatorial'.. that I was shocked to know it had a Telugu name and was even surprised to see its huge blossoms.(Like grown-ups with pigtails!)

A current favorite in Hyderabad, can find hordes of them on road-dividers, on necklace road etc..and how can I end without mentioning its scent? And the flowers...aah...the sight of the star-shaped flower spangled trees on an Autumn Night is definitely in my Hall of fame(Favorite Sights)
